Australian Capital Ventures Limited (ACVL) does not limit its contribution to investee companies to an injection of funds. As an active investment manager, the company believes in the importance of mentoring investee companies in order to increase their chances of success. A large number of the current investments have been made through the Canberra Business Development Fund, a joint venture between the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government and Australian Capital Ventures Limited that offers support to early stage businesses in the Canberra region.
