Hindmarsh is undertaking the Flinders Link joint venture development with a projected value of $130 million, the biggest project of its kind in Adelaide and the largest construction project undertaken by Hindmarsh.
It consists of four major buildings, the first of which is a new 12,000m2 office for Insurance Australia Group's (IAG) Adelaide headquarters. The second, a 700-bay car park to be operated by Hindmarsh parking subsidiary EziPark and the third a residential development.
The final segment is the development and construction of a prominent, new 15,000m2 national headquarters for leading mining company Santos.
In June 2005, Hindmarsh purchased two properties - 1 & 3 Onslow Avenue in Elizabeth Bay, Sydney.
Hindmarsh will develop an exclusive residential complex with predominantly large three bedroom apartments facing Elizabeth Bay, enjoying views to the harbour or adjacent parkland. This landmark site represents one of the leading development opportunities in Elizabeth Bay.
The design of the building is currently underway with the DA to be submitted late 2005. Construction is expected to commence early 2006.
