Hindmarsh is proud to be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Constrution OHS Accreditation Scheme.
Both John Hindmarsh (ACT) Pty Ltd and John Hindmarsh (SA) Pty Ltd have been awarded Accreditation from the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner for meeting the requirements of the Scheme. Accreditation is valid to October 2010.
Accreditation is required for builders who are engaged as Head Contractors in order to carry out contracts for building work valued at least $3 million, which are awarded under Commonwealth Government funded projects that fall within the scope of the scheme.
Hindmarsh has a fully integrated Quality, Environmental and Safety (QES) Business Management System, which is Third Party certified by DNV Certification Pty Ltd until March 2009. The system enables the identification, assessment and control of risks and hazards associated with the company’s activities via an all-inclusive approach and satisfies the requirements of each of the following benchmark standards:
