After 17 years of international experience and participation in the USA, Vietnam, Malaysia and Myanmar, Hindmarsh commenced its involvement in China with the importation of building materials in 2000. It is now significantly expanding its Chinese activities with the opening of a Hindmarsh Shanghai representative office, an investment in a joint venture parking company based in Beijing and cooperation with Chinese investors in retirement in the ACT.

Kingdy Parking Joint Venture

Hindmarsh has invested in a rapidly expanding car parking business in Beijing.

Aged Care Joint Venture

Hindmarsh, together with a Chinese investor, is currently designing a new aged persons complex at Fern Hill in Belconnen, ACT and is also investigating options for a joint venture in the development of aged persons facilities in China.

Building Materials

Hindmarsh has been importing various building materials from China including granite, toughened glass and stainless steel items for both its own use and for third parties including the National Museum of Australia and St Patrick's Cathedral in Parramatta, NSW.
