Australian Capital Ventures Limited (ACVL) manages a portfolio of investments in early-stage promising technology businesses with a true global potential.

ACVL has a specific geographic focus, the Canberra region, and mainly operates as the manager of the Canberra Business Development Fund (CBDF), an equal-share joint venture between the ACT Government and Hindmarsh. Currently, ACVL manages a portfolio of 11 investee companies in a number of different business sectors, including IT, biotech, agritech and medical devices.

The benefits received by ACVL's portfolio companies include funding, with over $100 million in direct and leveraged funds received by CBDF investments alone since inception, as well as the continuous support, mentoring and advice of ACVL's team of experienced professionals.

Hindmarsh has also established a capital sourcing entity to raise funds for other investments, predominantly in the real estate space and beyond the scope of ACVL's area of activity.
